PNR offers a complete range of filters to suit all applications. We can supply large inline filters (to filter water prior to reaching the spray nozzle) and also smaller spray nozzle filters which either fit behind the nozzle via a thread or are kept in place with a nipple and cap assembly.
PLASTIC BODY INLINE FILTERS: PNR VEH plastic bodied (polypropylene) inline filters are a cost effective solution for most applications. The large ergonomic grip between bowl and head allows for quick and easy cleaning or replacement of filter cartridges. The flow of liquid is not interrupted during operation due to the large available mesh surface area for filtering. VEH filters are available in ½”, ¾”, 1”, 1 ¼” or 1 ½” BSPP with 32, 50 or 100 mesh cartridges.
BRASS BODIED INLINE FILTERS: Our VEL series brass bodied (polypropylene) inline filters are an ideal solution for most applications in small plants which require easy cleaning and maintenance. There is a simple hand operated valve to the base of the filter for rapid cleaning. When turned the particles trapped by the filter are expelled through the valve to waste, although a full clean is still required from time to time. A pressure gauge on the filter head indicates a pressure drop when cleaning is required. VEL filters are available in ⅜” ½”, ¾”, 1”, 1 ¼”, 1 ½” or 2” BSPP with 150 mesh cartridges.
LARGE CAPACITY FILTER: PNR VEM filters range from ½” up to 3” connection and have been specifically designed for high particle retention. The filter bowl houses an extended cartridge for longer operating life reducing maintenance time. Maintenance time can be further reduced by replacing a service plug at the base of filter bowl with a ball valve which can be opened to quickly expel built up particles to waste. The large ergonomic grip around the bowl along with a quality machined threaded connection allows for quick and easy cleaning or replacement of filter cartridges. Constructed in aluminium, with 304 stainless steel filter cartridge VEM filters also cope well in harsh conditions.
‘Y’ STYLE FILTERS: PNR VEQ ‘Y’ filters are a cost effective solution for most applications. The large ergonomic grip cap allows for quick and easy cleaning or replacement of filter cartridges. These filters are widely used in all types of application where water supply to nozzles requires filtering. VEQ filters are available in ⅜” ½”, ¾” or 1”BSPP with 60 mesh cartridges. The VEQ filter suits most food applications as the main body is constructed from polypropylene and filter cartridge from 316 stainless steel.
HAT FILTERS: PNR VEA series hat-shaped filters have been specially designed for our ⅜” flanged nozzles and ZPB clamps. These are a great addition to your nozzle set-up to help prevent blockages and filtering before spraying liquids. Mesh sizes available 50, 75 & 100.
FLANGED FILTERS: PNR VEC flanged filters sit within the body of our ZLA range of threaded nipples. The large surface area of the filter prolongs the usage time of the spray nozzles they protect. We recommend using these filters on small capacity nozzles to avoid clogging and enhance performance. Also available in a check valve option (see our VED filters) which are a simple solution to stop nozzles from dripping.
FLANGED CHECK VALVE FILTERS: PNR VED flange filters are a great addition to your nozzle assembly to stop dripping between spraying. Available in several pressure ratings, materials and mesh sizes, there is a set-up to suit most applications. The VED filters sit within the body of our ZLA range of threaded nipples where their large filter surface area prolongs the usage time of nozzles. We recommend using these filters on small capacity nozzles to avoid clogging and enhance their performance.
THREADED FILTERS: PNR VEF filters have been specially designed to fit our low flow ¼” hydraulic misting nozzle (RX/RZ range) of nozzles. Due to the micro engineered parts of these nozzles it is highly recommend that these VEF are used as a pre-filter to avoid clogging and improve performance.
